The reception and the switch-board are located in Strømgaten 1 and is open from 8am to 3.30pm.

KHiB students have access to courses throught the learning platform itslearning .

KHiB campus
KHiB is located in six buildings at three locations in the city centre: Strømgaten 1, Marken 37, Kong Oscars gate 62, Vaskerelven 8 og i C. Sundts gate 53+55.

Workshops, datalab and workplaces
There are several rooms with specialised equipment at KHiB, for instance: photo studio, printmaking workshop, lazercutter, ceramics and clay workshops, wood workshops and metal workshop.

KHiB Library
The KHiB Library is located in Vaskerelven 8, on the 1st floor. Opening hours: Monday-Wednesday: 9am - 4pm, Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 4pm. Phone: 00 47 55 58 73 34. The library is also open for external users.

KHiB Canteen
The Student Welfare Organisation in Bergen runs a little cafeteria in Marken 37. This is where you meet your fellow students and staff! Opening hours: 10.30am - 2.30pm (Monday - Friday).

Student-run galleries/showrooms 

Galleri Fisk shows student works from KHiB and similar institutions in Norway and the rest of the world.

Galleri Bokboden is an exhibition window for current and former KHiB students.

Student Council
The Student Council at KHiB consists of ten members who represent the student body in a range of fora. Two members of the Student Council are members of the KHiB Board. At the start of the academic year in September, members are elected from both departments. Do you want to take part in the student democracy?

Student Welfare Organisation in Bergen (SiB)
The Student Welfare Organisation in Bergen (SiB) contributes to your well-being during your time as a student in Bergen. We organise student housing, cafeterias, child care, counselling services, sports activities, academic bookshops and a career centre - to mention but a few of our student welfare services.

Opening hours
You can use the KHiB facilities between 6am and midnight all week. If you should need to be on the premises after midnight, you can apply for night admission.
