-We are very happy with the outcome, and we look forward to enter phase three of the development of a new artistic faculty, says rector Gerd Tinglum at Bergen Academy of Art and Design.

The Ministry of Education and Research has allocated 5 million Norwegian Kroner to the work in conjunction with the merge between KHiB and UiB in 2016.

-UiB and KHiB display quality in an array of areas which can complement each other after the merge is completed, and I have high expectations that the merge will make the subject areas better equipped to take on challenges and possibilities in the years ahead. The 5 million will be a financial contribution to a secure a good merging process, says Minister of Education and Research, Torbjørn Røe Isaksen in a press release (Norwegian)
