Ellen Røed's artistic research during her time as research fellow at Bergen Academy of Art and Design has turned into the recently published book "Skyvelære". The critical reflection in this book contextualizes and articulates the artistic outcome of her fellowship project "Former for Forandring".
Bergen Academy of Art and Design will move into a new building in Møllendal Autumn 2017. The architects at Snøhetta designed the building, and material from the planning process can be seen in Rom8, Vaskerelven, from the 5th to the 28th of December 2015.
The works in this exhibition are selected from different art research (R&D) projects which Launder is involved with, on-going and stabilized momentarily for Rom8. The ephemeral, periphery, transitory, time-based – actualised into concrete works is the position taken to the contextual; where sculpture/installation blends into performance or visa versa.

October 12 – 16 the Art Academy of Latvia (AAL) professor Ieva Krūmiņa and lecturer Irēna Andrejeva is visiting Bergen Academy of Art and Design (KHiB). The objective of the mobility is to familiarize the students and academic staff of KHiB with the latest innovations and trends which are elaborated in the Textile Department of the AAL.
Professor Eamon O'Kane at Bergen Academy of Art and Design is among the artists who exhibit their work during the Norwegian Sculpture Biennial 2015. The exhibition opens 9 October at 19:00 and continues until 31 January 2016.
