The annual exhibition with first year students at Fine Art has form as an open studio event. Being in the middle of a study program, the students have collectively decided to keep the focus on the creative process and progression of each individual project. The exhibition opens 25 april.
Smiling // forcing your eyes against the sun
Emil Keller Skousen will present a series of new works within different media including drawing, photo, text, objects and textile work. They are results of this process and in one way or other all reflect on and interpret EVERY-THING and the course of P. Skousen's life. Opening 23 April at 7pm. The MA Degree Show in Fine Art 2014 takes place at Bergen Kunsthall from 11 Aapril to 4 May. The title is "MEAGHEA SKKLL RKGM MAH TNCA".
On a art scale they contradict working towards a center point ( - > X <- ) They explore similarities and differences in the use of materials and symbols. The contrast becomes an instrument in the exhibition. The works are site-specific and is based on the framework is given . Materials such as latex , wood, metal , hair , soil is used in their work.
Due to a number of blank votes in the election of a new rector at KHiB, none of the two candidates Gerd Tinglum and Maria Hirvi-Ijäs managed to get half of the votes. The election board has decided that a new election round wil take place between 28 April and 2 May.
At the Universal Design Conference 2012, Dr Yanki Lee met Professor Eli-Kirstin Eide, (Interior Architecture), Bergen Academy of Art and Design, Professor Camilla Ryhl, (Architecture), Bergen School of Architecture, and Associate Professor Carolyn Ahmer (Engineering), Bergen University College, where they shared a concern about the future trends of Universal Design (UD). Their meeting resulted in a research based workshop based on common research interests in Bergen February 2014. We asked Dr Yanki Lee to reflect on the process.

Veslemøy Lillleengen uses collections and conversations as her primary source of inspiration and work material. The waiting room is based on a conversation with her father.
