Three design students at KHiB received awards during BIR and Bergen municipality’s competition ReDesign at Torgallmenningen Saturday 29 October 2011.
A group of 10 Norwegian design students from the 4 National state owned design education institutions were awarded First Prize during the design fair Designers Open in Leipzig in Germany. Two of the team members were BA students of Design Martin Larsen and Martin Rygner from Bergen National Academy of the Arts.
The group show “Bergen Timeline 2011” opened at Galleri Format on 28 October 2011. The exhibition is a retrospective show based on work by artists who share a history of having studied at Bergen National Academy of the Arts (KHiB).

Neil Brownsword, Richard Launder, Anne Helen Mydland and Øyvind Suul, colleagues at Ceramics at KHiB, are for the first time exhibiting together. The exhibition is called "CONVERSATIONS: Brownsword, Launder, Mydland & Suul", and the exhibition will in many ways take the shape of a conversation.
